Nick Bostrom was invited as a featured presenter at the Second Annual Global Creative Leadership Summit – “a unique platform for the best minds of our generation” – organized by LTB Foundation with support from the UN Fund for International Partnerships (UNFIP) ( New York City, 23-25 September).
The Summit brought together a core group of the world's most influential leaders and thinkers from a comprehensive range of fields. Other participants included the Director-General of the World Trade Organization Pascal Lamy, Nobel Laureates Richard Axel and Eric Kandel, leading economist Jagdish Bhagwati, founder of One Laptop per Child Nicolas Negroponte, CEOs Leonard Lauder and Stephen Schwarzman, actress Julia Ormond and opinion-formers including Riz Khan and Chrystia Freeland.
