Nick Bostrom delivered a keynote speech “Global Risks and Emerging Technologies” at the 16th Biennial Conference of the Society for Philosophy and Technology(Twente, Netherlands). The conference focussed on the increasing convergence and social implications of information technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and cognitive technologies, and explored the philosophical, social and ethical aspects of these converging technologies.
