Toby Ord has recently been awarded a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship, which provides funding for three years to pursue a major research topic, 'Moral Uncertainty': the study of how we are to act when we are uncertain about the relevant moral issues. According to the BA website, the aim of the awards is "to offer opportunities for outstanding early career researchers to strengthen their experience of research and teaching". The BA Fellowship is held in conjunction with a Junior Research Fellowship at Balliol College.
