Hamish Hobbs

Research Scholar

Hamish is a Research Scholar at the Future of Humanity Institute. His research focuses on the governance of emerging technologies and policies to manage risks with long-term consequences for humanity. Before joining FHI, Hamish worked as a policy adviser at the Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, where he advised the government on economic policy. He holds a BA in Politics and International Relations and a BSc in Geography from the University of Western Australia.
