Carina Prunkl is a Senior Research Scholar at the Future of Humanity Institute collaborating with the Centre for the Governance of AI. Her research focuses on the philosophy and ethics of artificial intelligence and its applications to governance and policy considerations. She also teaches the OxAI course on the Ethics and Social Implications of AI.

She holds a DPhil in Philosophy and an MSt in Philosophy of Physics from the University of Oxford as well as a Master’s degree in Physics from Freie Universität Berlin.
