On March 13th, Carl Frey and Mike Osborne presented their results on automation and employment at the Oxford Martin School. Topics included creative destruction, applications of machine learning, and the future role of human workers.

The research used a dataset of over 700 different occupations.  With some machine learning techniques, they found that almost half of current US jobs were vulnerable to automation in the next two decades.  For a video of the seminar, see here.
