The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission held a hearing on Technology, Trade, and Military-Civil Fusion: China’s Pursuit of Artificial Intelligence, New Materials, and New Energy. Jeffrey Ding and Helen Toner were among those providing evidence.

Stefan Torges, wrote a response to the European Commission’s White Paper on Artificial Intelligence. In this response, he focussed the analysis and recommendations on the proposed “ecosystem of trust” and associated international efforts.
