FHI is excited to invite applications for an Administrative Assistant within the Future of Humanity Institute (FHI) at the University of Oxford. The post is fixed-term for 14 months from the date of appointment and full-time, with part-time considered.

The successful candidate will be part of FHI’s administrative team, providing general office support to administrative and research staff working at the Institute, helping to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. Responsibilities are varied and will include working on: travel and accommodation bookings, arranging logistics for visitors to FHI, carrying out purchasing for the office and for staff, processing expenses, supporting recruitment and onboarding new staff, liaising with facilities management and maintaining the office environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, will be flexible in taking on a variety of tasks and be able to manage their own workload as well as being able to learn quickly and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
